TURATTI PRESS RELEASE - INTERNATIONAL FOODTEC AWARD 2012
The
jury of DLG (German Agricultural Society) jointly with Koelnmesse,
decided to revoke the Gold Medal for the International Foodtec Award
2012 to the company Kronen GmbH for the "Vortex" model.
As a matter of fact, the Italian company Turatti
(www.turatti.com) proved that the Kronen model did not meet the
criteria of the award in light of Turatti's model "Camel" which had
already been displayed during the previous edition of the Anuga Food
Tec show in 2009.
Turatti's model - that was introduced in the market in 2007
and is now operating in several major companies worldwide - is a big
success in the market. The revolutionary design is utilizing the
proven technology of the closed pipe flume concept without the use
of a centrifugal pump for product movement. In this closed flume,
the contact time with the sanitizing solution is accurately
controlled, thus guaranteeing full submersion and a precise
treatment time.
The Sales Manager and VP of Turatti, Alessandro Turatti
"thanks the Jury of DLG and Koelnmesse for having reconsidered and
reversed its decision after having examined Turatti's development of
its machine Camel which since 2007 uses a pumpless concept. Turatti
is satisfied that a confusion in the market has been avoided since
Koln 2012 will be the occasion for the company to display the third
generation of this model".
